Well, as it usually happens in most professions, there are projects that you like and projects that you don’t. People that you get along great with, and others that don’t really make a match made in heaven. In this case, all the ingredients were ideal and this wedding made it to our Top 5!
Michael -half Egyptian half British, and Lizzie -half Australian half Greek, chose the island of Spetses to tie the knot.
Apart from the fact that we are thrilled that Greece was the lucky host (yey!) , we were more than happy to bring together all of the different customs and traditions and create ever lasting memories for these love birds and their families.
The festivities started the day before, with a nice and cozy pre-wedding cocktail event, and finished with a post-wedding event with a delicious BBQ party.
The couple asked for a fresh and summerish concept, so we decided on going with bright yellow and lemons!
The color palette was green, yellow and had various details in gold.
Little olive oil bottles and small cotton bags filled with sugared almonds were also part of the table setting, and were the wedding favors to the guests.
Highlight of the day: One of the groomsmen surprised the couple with a bagpipe player, who was performing outside of the church until the ceremony started.
