Above and Beyond our Expectations
When we decided to get married abroad, I did things a little bit backwards. I found a venue first and then reached out to planners. Rosina was the first planner I contacted and instantly I knew she was the one. We had a pretty modest budget and Rosina never made us feel like our vision couldn’t be achieved. To make the stress of planning abroad a little more intense, we also wanted to get married in the Greek Orthodox church, which made everything a bit more complicated. Rosina helped us navigate the ever-changing requirements (which were changing up until a few days before our wedding!) with ease and always made us feel like everything was handled. As an eager American, I was ready to start booking things and making decisions very early on (almost 1.5yr before the wedding- which is the norm in our area of the US) and Rosina assured me it was too early to have to make all these decisions- this made me nervous! But honestly, that is how things are done in Greece, it’s much more laid back and relaxed- which I think I needed a healthy dose of while planning lol. Any time we had questions about a budget or a different option for transportation/lights/music/food/whatever Rosina gathered all necessary information and relayed it back to us. When I managed to find a great flight deal to Greece a year before the wedding, I jumped on it for “planning purposes” (i.e 3 days in Athens around the venue and 3 days on an island!) and Rosina helped me plan a tasting at the venue and a hair and makeup trial with a HMUA she’d worked with before (Frantzeska Koukoula, who was lovely) and it was great to be able to do those things. Ultimately, the day was truly above and beyond our expectations. Seriously the most fun night of our lives, it was a full on party until 4 am. The food was excellent, the music was excellent, the transportation was seamless, all of our requests were accommodated- Rosina really did it all (and imagine my husband and I’s surprise when we met her a few days before the wedding to see that she was a little over 8 months pregnant!!) and she did it so well. We cannot thank her enough for executing the celebration of our dreams. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. We’re biased, but we agree. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Rosina for everything!!
